Back in the States again and as always we try and fit in the swap meets that are on at the time , The first weekend we where here the Long Beach motorcycle swap was on . Its always a great place to go even if you are not really in the market for anything . You can spend hours checking out all types of motor cycle bits and pieces as well as a stack of bikes in the parking lot that doubles as a show area .

We even managed to catch up with local custom bike builder Chica who has featured on multiple episodes of Biker Build Off ! He was a super friendly guy and was even up for having his picture taken with one of my sons

We just shipped this 1959 Corvette from the US for a customer and it arrived this week ,These cars always seem to attract attention and I suppose considering the style they had for a 59 model car its easy to see why people admire them . It makes you wonder if any of the mass produced vehicles being built 2009 will still being running in fifty years from now ?? And will they as sort after as these cars are ??

Over the last few days we have had more stuff arriving at the shop including these Harleys.
The softail is one that I was using to get around on when I was in the states on the last buying trip , Great for the traffic on the 405 freeway !!!

It’s a 87 softail with a set of apes and some flame work on the tank and guards

Then there’s the 84 FLH !!! This is the last of the shovel heads , I don’t think it maters what style bike your into you can’t help but have a soft spot for the classic looking old school Harleys like this one

On our last buying trip to America, I found this 1985 softail out in the high desert, just outside Los Angeles.
Check out the new bike lift, it’s a super size manual lift which can handle the larger American bikes.
It was in need of a fresh coast of paint and a bit of a tidy up. We have since imported it to our shop in Currumbin, Queensland and is now soon to be complete!

Wintersun is Australia’s leading rock & roll nostalgia retro event, which goes for 10 days from May-30 to June-9. There are bands, workshops, dancing, entertainment, stalls, performers and the best part of all, over 1500 Hot Rods, Custom and Classic Cars on show.
The Wintersun crew had a pre-festival promotion down on Marine Parade in Coolangatta, and called on A to Z Imports to bring along a rare and unique car for the filming of a tv special for the upcoming festival.
We had just the car, a 1965 Lincoln Continental. Not only are there only 3 of these in Australia this was the actual car used to film The Matrix. This car will undergo a full ground up restoration in the not to distant future.
The Wintersun car show is for pre 1974 cars only, and attracts all sorts!! A to Z Imports will have a few cars on show during the festival, so keep your eyes out!

Our old hoist was getting a little tired and sad, so a couple of weeks back, we upgraded our lift to a Bend Pak XP-10CX. Being an extra wide lift, we can now handle bigger vehicles such as pickups and dual cabs.
